Technically, it is possible to buy a home without a professional real estate agent. However, I believe there are too many pros than cons when it comes to working with a realtor.

Besides the downpayment, lending fees are the second largest costs to homebuyers. These fees are typically between 2%-4% of the loan amount depending on the loan type.

The closing process happens once the buyers and sellers agree on a home’s price. This entire process begins and typically lasts between 30-60 days. During this time frame, home inspections and appraisals have happened, and the purchase contract and financial documents are approved and signed.

On the official closing day, both parties will meet in person (or have a representative present) to sign final documents and exchange the keys! This is typically an exciting day for both parties.

View Properties

Now that I understand what you are looking for and have your wish list, I’ll start to research properties in the area that meet what you are looking for. Often, I can see properties before they even hit the market.

Submit an Offer

After we’ve seen multiple properties and have selected your winner, let’s submit an offer! I will be right by your side during this process making sure you offer the right amount, as well as walk you through any necessary negotiations.

Complete an Inspection

Once your offer has been accepted, it’s time for the inspection process. After the inspection you have another opportunity to ask for home improvements or negotiate the price. Again, I’ve got your back.

Close On The Property

Finally, the moment you’ve been waiting for, closing day! This day is very exciting but involves a lot of paperwork. I’ll walk you through the contracts and help you understand exactly what you are signing off on.

After this, it’s time to move into your dream property!
